What does this bill do?

Reduces the maximum unemployment benefits from 26 weeks to 20 weeks, renames the unemployment commission, and provides funding for system updates.

Reduces the maximum amount of unemployment benefits payable in a benefit year from 26 times the weekly benefit amount to 20 times the weekly benefit amount, or 30% of base period wages, whichever is less. (W.S. 27-3-304(a))
Renames the unemployment insurance commission to the unemployment reemployment insurance commission of Wyoming. (W.S. 27-3-102(a)(v), W.S. 27-3-601(a))
Updates references in statutes to refer to the renamed unemployment reemployment insurance commission. (W.S. 27-14-802(b))
Appropriates $18,000 from the general fund to the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services for updating and administering the unemployment insurance system for the period from the effective date through June 30, 2027. (Section 2)
