Requires hospitals in Wyoming to publicly disclose pricing information for medical items and services, and establishes enforcement mechanisms through the Department of Health.

• Creates the Hospital Price Transparency Act requiring hospitals to maintain and publicly disclose standard charges for all facility items and services, including gross charges, negotiated charges, and discounted cash prices. (W.S. 35-2-1501, W.S. 35-2-1503(a))
• Requires hospitals to list standard charges for at least 300 shoppable services (or all shoppable services provided if fewer) in accordance with federal regulations at 45 C.F.R. part 180. (W.S. 35-2-1503(a)(ii), W.S. 35-2-1503(c)(ii)(C))
• Mandates that price lists be prominently displayed on hospital websites, free of charge, without requiring user accounts or personal information, digitally searchable, and accessible to search engines. (W.S. 35-2-1503(d), W.S. 35-2-1503(e))
• Requires hospitals to update price lists at least annually and clearly indicate the date of the most recent update on their website. (W.S. 35-2-1503(f))
• Authorizes the Department of Health to monitor hospital compliance through complaint evaluation, analysis review, and website audits, and permits the department to consider compliance history when reviewing license renewal applications. (W.S. 35-2-1504)
• Establishes a material violation process requiring the Department of Health to issue a notice and require hospitals to submit a corrective action plan describing how they will achieve compliance within a specified timeframe. (W.S. 35-2-1505)
• Imposes tiered civil penalties on hospitals for failure to respond to violation notices or comply with corrective action plans: $100-$1,000 per day for critical access hospitals depending on offense frequency, and $1,000 per day for other hospitals with prospective payment systems. (W.S. 35-2-1506)
• Authorizes the Department of Health to deny, suspend, or revoke a hospital license if the hospital violates any provision of the Hospital Price Transparency Act. (W.S. 35-2-905(a)(vi), Section 2)
