Requires hospitals in Wyoming to publicly disclose pricing information for medical items and services, report on prescription drug pricing programs, and prohibits debt collection actions by hospitals that violate pricing transparency requirements.

• Hospitals must publish on their website a machine-readable digital file listing all standard charges for facility items and services, and a human-readable list of standard charges for at least 300 shoppable services that can be scheduled in advance. • Standard charge lists must include gross charges, de-identified minimum and maximum negotiated charges, discounted cash prices, payor-specific negotiated charges by name and plan, billing codes, and information about prescription drug discounts under the federal 340B program. (W.S. 35-2-1504(c))
• Price lists must be posted prominently on hospital websites, free of charge and without requiring user accounts or personal information, searchable by internet search engines, digitally searchable, and updated at least annually with a clearly indicated date. • Hospitals participating in the federal 340B drug pricing program must report annually to the Department of Health by April 1 detailed information including acquisition costs, payment amounts, pharmacy payments, drug claims, use of savings for charity care, and financial assistance policies. • The Department of Health must monitor hospital compliance through complaints, audits, and website reviews, and must consider compliance when reviewing license renewal applications. (W.S. 35-2-1508)
• Hospitals that materially violate pricing transparency requirements must submit a corrective action plan within 30 days and comply within an additional 30 days, with the department reviewing and approving the plan. (W.S. 35-2-1509)
• The Department of Health may impose civil penalties of $100-$1,000 per day depending on hospital type and number of offenses, and must maintain a publicly available list of violating hospitals updated every 30 days. (W.S. 35-2-1510)
