Authorizes state employees to choose between monthly or semimonthly pay periods and requires the state auditor to establish rules and procedures for implementing semimonthly pay options.
- Allows state employees on automatic payroll direct deposit to elect semimonthly pay on the sixteenth day of each month (or the preceding working day) and the last working day of each month, with notice to the state auditor in a form determined by the auditor. (W.S. 9-3-101(d), Sec. 1)
- Requires the state auditor to promulgate rules for state employees to elect semimonthly pay, including limitations on how and when employees may change between monthly and semimonthly pay schedules. (W.S. 9-3-101(d), Sec. 1)
- Authorizes the state auditor to establish the frequency of insurance remittances, contributions, and retirement contributions to account for semimonthly pay periods. (W.S. 9-1-402(c), Sec. 1)
