The Committee is required under Section 4 of the recently enacted law, SF0127 or SEA No. 59, to provide a report to the Management Council related to the review and analysis of major administrative rules. The report is due by December 1, 2025, and it must address the enrolled act's "relation to existing statutory provisions concerning the legislative role in the administrative rule review process." The Committee also proposes to receive an update on future approaches to, and resources needed for, program evaluation.
The Committee proposes to review and evaluate executive branch programs, and to consider possible repeal of statutory authority for agency programs no longer operated or funded.
The Committee proposes to receive an update from the Wyoming Business Council on small business development programs and efforts throughout the state. The Committee would also like an update on the Business Council’s Business Financing Division and its Business Loan and Grant programs.
